V is Vanessa Hudgens's debut album, first released on September 26, 2006. Hudgens stated the title of the album stands for Vanessa, but also for variety, "because my album, in a way, is a mix" of pop, pop rock, dance electronic, and ballads. Hudgens promoted the album when opening for The Cheetah Girls during their The Party's Just Begun Tour, and then promoted on the High School Musical Tour. The music video for the first single, "Come Back to Me", was played on major television stations, and the second single from the album, "Say OK", was premiered with two videos.
